Women in Rugby Advisory Committee Members Announced

RugbyWA is happy to announce the successful individuals selected for the governing body’s Women in Rugby Advisory Committee. 

The Women in Rugby Advisory Committee was created to grow and develop women’s rugby across all grades throughout the state. Its aim is to secure the future of both Junior and Senior women’s competitions and assist in guiding the decision-making process surrounding growth planning, fixturing, rules and guidelines and dispensations within the women’s game. 

The Committee will meet once every three months. 

“RugbyWA is committed to developing the Girls and Women’s game in Western Australia, and to becoming a national leader for the programs run within our state,” RugbyWA General Manager – Community, Sarah du Plessis, said.  

“The Women in Rugby Advisory Committee will allow us to have continuous, direct engagement with key stakeholders involved in women’s rugby, and to secure a future which promotes safety, teamwork, excellence and respect.” 

 

The members of the Women in Rugby Advisory Committee are:

  • Trilleen Pomare 
  • Ashlee Temple 
  • Kristi Greaves 
  • Tyler Miller 
  • Claudia Bell 
  • Leanne McNamee 
  • Teri-Josie Sciascia 

 

The Committee will meet for the first time this week. RugbyWA would like to thank all who submitted for their continue commitment to women’s rugby in Western Australia.
