The Rugby Foundation of Western Australia’s (previously Future Force) purpose is to financially support the growth and love of rugby in Western Australia across the ENTIRE ecosystem.
Since 2006 the Foundation has provided financial support for the elite pathway and Rugby Academies in Western Australia. Over the last 7 years, more than $1.3 million has been injected into grassroots rugby in Western Australia by the Foundation and its members.
The Rugby Foundation is committed to fostering growth, inclusivity, and excellence within the rugby community of Western Australia. Our philanthropic efforts aim to elevate rugby in Western Australia by providing resources, funding, and support to initiatives that promote the values of rugby and positively impact individuals and communities.
Allocate funds to support grassroots rugby development programs across Western Australia, focusing on youth development, coaching clinics, and infrastructure improvement projects.
Provide scholarships, grants, and educational opportunities to support the academic and skill development of rugby players, coaches, and administrators, both past and present.
Implement initiatives to improve player welfare, including mental health support services, injury prevention programs, and access to medical resources for players at all levels, both past and present.
Invest in high-performance programs to support elite athletes in their pursuit of excellence, including funding for training facilities, coaching staff, and competition opportunities.
Develop initiatives to promote inclusivity and diversity within the rugby community, including outreach programs to underrepresented groups, such as women and girls, regional communities, and people with disabilities.
