RugbyWA offers a number of programs for up and coming homegrown talent. One of these programs, includes the annual RugbyWA State Championships.

Selection in the North, Central and South region representative teams is the first step in the RugbyWA player pathway. The RugbyWA State Championships are held annually and contested across two age groups: U15 and U16 for the boys and U16 and U18 for the girls. The State Championships are held during school holidays each year.

Selection for these teams will be based on performances while playing for either club or school teams. The preparation period for these teams will be conducted throughout May and June.
