Over 35s rugby offers those past their Premier Grade-days the opportunity to continue to play rugby, but with modified rules.
Run by RugbyWA-affiliate club, SCRUMWA, Over 35s (affectionately known as Golden Oldies) is non-competitive rugby which plays every second Sunday, with a variety of teams throughout Western Australia.
To learn more, visit SCRUMWA's website.
SCRUMWA competitions play with modified rules. With shorter games and rolling substitutions, you determine the pace of the game - if you run, you'll get tackled; or you can walk and see. There is still contact, but players can choose to wear either red or gold shorts, to show what you're able to take.
SCRUMWA follow the Rugby Australia 2018 Veteran's Rugby Laws. To learn more, visit the link below.
