RugbyWA is currently accepting applications for a number of coaching roles working with the Under 16s Female Development Squad and the Under 18s Emerging Female Squad.
RugbyWA is committed to providing development pathways for Junior Female athletes and will be running two development programs from November 2021 through to February 2022.
The aim of the program will be to continue to engage a core group of female athletes in rugby and support their continued development.
The program will work to instil a more targeted and professional approach to training; build and develop a team culture; introduce and foster an understanding of basic strength and conditioning; as well as further develop the players’ technical skills set and tactical understanding of the sport.
The Emerging and Development programs will tie in with the new U17 Girls State Championship Match and the U18 Schoolgirls representative team.
The coaching roles will be responsible for the on-field delivery in the training and development program for RugbyWA’s Junior Female athletes.
The programs will be delivered in two 6-week blocks from November to December and January to February.
