On Saturday, August 30, the Lark Hill Sporting Complex came alive with the colour, passion and energy of the RugbyWA Grand Final.
Thousands of fans filled the venue to cheer on their clubs, but beyond the action on the field, the day was also a powerful reminder of the role partnerships play in shaping and strengthening rugby in Western Australia.
As naming rights partners of the Fortescue Premier Grades, Fortescue continued their longstanding support of the game’s highest level, helping showcase the talent, skill and resilience that define rugby in WA. With flags, post pads, their logo emblazoned on the field, and an incredible roving camera, Fortescue showed the importance of getting amongst the community, highlighting connection and integration.
Similarly, the Insurance Commission of WA - through their Belt Up campaign - once again stood alongside our emerging talent as naming rights partners of the Belt Up Colts, reinforcing the life-saving message of road safety to the next generation.
Fans were also treated to a vibrant festival atmosphere thanks to partner activations across the grounds. Mitsubishi, through Rockingham Mitsubishi, brought a dynamic display of their latest vehicles, giving supporters the chance to explore the brand’s innovation and design up close. Meanwhile, Healthway engaged families and young fans with their popular activation, where spinning wheels and fun quiz questions led to giveaways of fruit and reusable water bottles, reinforcing the message of healthy, active lifestyles.
Together, these partnerships brought more than logos to the sidelines. They created experiences, supported pathways, and connected communities, making the RugbyWA Grand Final Festival of Rugby not just a showcase of the game, but a celebration of the people and organisations who stand behind it.
