RugbyWA is delighted to announce the extension of their partnership with Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough for 2025.

Rendezvous Scarborough has renewed their partnership with RugbyWA, continuing their support towards the growth and development of the rugby community in Western Australia.

The hotel will once again be the naming rights sponsor for RugbyWA's annual pre-season Challenge Cup for 2025. The Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough Challenge Cup will see an extended roster in 2025 following the success of its launch in 2024, featuring both Men's and Women's competitions.

Kicking off in March, the Men's Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough Challenge Cup will feature teams from both the Championship Grade and Fortescue Premier Grade, with the opportunity for interesting matchups and unexpected upsets. The Women's Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough Challenge Cup is new for 2025, with a two-round tournament to kick off in early April.

In addition to their support of the Challenge Cup, Rendezvous Scarborough will provide RugbyWA Emerging Players Program participants with professional development opportunities. With a focus on leadership, mentorship and skills development for a future in rugby or hospitality, Rendezvous Scarborough is helping to secure the long-term success of all individuals within the rugby community, building strong connections and careers.

2025 will also see Rendezvous Scarborough host a selection of RugbyWA Corporate events, including the 2025 RugbyWA Grand Final Breakfast.

RugbyWA CEO, Simon Taylor, said: “It’s great to have Rendezvous Scarborough back on board as a partner for 2025.

“RugbyWA is thankful to have their support in the continued development of not just our game, but our high-performance athletes and corporate engagement as well.

“We look forward to working with the team at Rendezvous Scarborough to unite Western Australians on-and-off the field, growing the game and inspiring community connection.”

Rhys Challenger, General Manager of Rendezvous Scarborough, said: "We’re proud to extend our partnership with RugbyWA for 2025, continuing our support of the wider Western Australian rugby community.

“The success of the inaugural Challenge Cup showed the passion for the game, and we’re excited to see it grow even further, especially with the introduction of the Women’s competition.

“At Rendezvous Scarborough, we believe in fostering strong community connections both on and off the field, and we look forward to another fantastic season ahead."

The Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough Men’s Challenge Cup will commence on March 15, 2025.
