RugbyWA Board Member, Kathleen Bozanic, has been elected to Rugby Australia’s Board of Directors.
Kathleen Bozanic has been elected to Rugby Australia’s Board of Directors, following their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 16th April.
Ms. Bozanic has served on the RugbyWA Board of Directors since 2020, prior to which she spent 3 years serving on the Board of the Future Force Foundation (now Rugby Foundation of Western Australia). She left the Foundation Board in 2023.
As an appointed Board Member, Ms. Bozanic has been an instrumental figure in the growth and development of rugby within Western Australia.

Professionally, Ms. Bozanic is the Chief Financial Officer for IGO Ltd, which she was appointed to in 2022 after 3 years of service as a Non-Executive Director. She has over 30 years’ experience as a finance professional including as Partner of professional services firm, Deloitte and Chief Financial Officer/General Manager of listed and private mining and contracting companies, and has previously held senior positions with BGC Contracting, Atlas Iron and Mt Gibson. In addition to her corporate work, Ms. Bozanic has been a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Audit and Risk Committees for several listed, private and government organisations, including not just RugbyWA, but also various engineering and mining companies, Western Australian Deaf Society and WAMSI.
Ms. Bozanic will step down from the RugbyWA Board following the RugbyWA Annual General Meeting on April 28, 2025.
