The HSBC SVNS will return to Perth in 2026.

RugbyWA is thrilled with the announcement that the HSBC SVNS will return to Western Australia for the next three years.

Arriving in Perth in February, it marks the third year the Western Australian capital has hosted the Australian leg of the tour. The new agreement will see the competition played in Perth over three years, covering 2026, 2027 a

On a slightly later date than in the previous stops to the state, the HSBC SVNS Perth will take place across the weekend on February 7 and 8, and is set to be hosted at HBF Park.

The announcement coincides with the confirmation that Wanneroo Districts Rugby Union Football Club will host the WA 7s for a second year, which is set to kick off on the weekend prior to the HSBC SVNS Perth, on January 31, 2026, and February 1, 2026. The WA 7s is the final event in the West Coast 7s Series for the 2025-26 season, and is the only event on the 7s calendar to host both Junior and Senior competitions. Registrations will open today, with age groups ranging from Under 13s through to Open Men’s.

RugbyWA Chief Executive Officer, Simon Taylor, said: “We’re delighted that Perth will once again play host to the HSBC SVNS in 2026. Bringing the world’s best Sevens athletes back to HBF Park not only showcases the global game on our doorstep but also inspires the next generation of players right here in Western Australia. Hosting the tournament for a third consecutive year is a fantastic opportunity to continue growing rugby in our state and share our passion for the game with the wider community, particularly off the back of our WA 7s, set to be held the week before.”

RugbyWA thanks World Rugby, Rugby Australia, Tourism WA and the Government of Western Australia for their incredible work throughout this period to ensure that Western Australia will once again host the HSBC SVNS in 2026.
