At RugbyWA, we understand that today’s businesses are not just seeking commercial success - they are seeking purpose. That’s why we are proud to partner with initiatives that align with global goals around diversity, leadership, and community impact. One recent example is our support for Grassroots to Global: Women in Rugby Inspiring Change, an initiative led by ChildFund Rugby, a trusted global partner of World Rugby.

Businesses today face growing expectations from customers, employees, and shareholders to show leadership in social responsibility, particularly around gender equity and youth development. Yet many struggle to find genuine, high-impact initiatives that connect brand purpose with tangible community outcomes.

The Grassroots to Global Series, supported by RugbyWA, connects inspirational female rugby leaders from communities around the world to build a more equitable and inclusive future.

Momarch Management Founder and Facilitator of the Grassroots to Global Forum, Monica Beazley, said: “Initiatives like Grassroots to Global are essential for organisations committed to genuine social impact and sustainable leadership development. They create meaningful opportunities for emerging female leaders to connect, collaborate, and co-create solutions that address systemic barriers in sport and beyond.

“By fostering inclusive leadership at the grassroots level, these programs don’t just grow the game, they strengthen communities, inspire future generations, and build a ripple effect of positive social change that benefits everyone.”

The Perth Forum brought together leaders from a variety of backgrounds - from players to coaches, administrators, and even the Chair of Judiciary from South Australia - to drive real change both locally and internationally.

Culminating in global representation at the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup, one participant from the Forum will have the opportunity to be part of the Grassroots to Global Connect in England, an international conference for Grassroots to Global leaders from around the world. ChildFund Rugby’s partnership with World Rugby ensures that these community voices are heard and amplified on the world stage.

Outcomes & Opportunities:

RugbyWA’s Grassroots to Global Forum engaged female rugby leaders, with a ripple effect across local clubs and regional communities.

One of WA’s leaders will represent Australia at Grassroots to Global Connect, showcasing Western Australia’s contribution to global social impact.

Business partners have the opportunity to align with future leadership forums, community workshops and empowerment programs through RugbyWA’s relationship with ChildFund Rugby and World Rugby.
