Everything you need to know ahead of the 2021 Fortescue Grand Final

This weekend will see Palmyra Rugby Club and Cottesloe Rugby Club battle it out on field for the Fortescue Premiership win.

Set to be a day of sunshine, the jam-packed day of rugby will be held at Hartfield Park, the home ground of Kalamunda Rugby Club. Junior games will be played earlier in the day, kicking off from 8:20am with a number of community teams playing with the hopes to enter the Grand Final at Rockingham next Saturday.

The Fortescue final is set to kick off at 3:45pm, with Palmyra taking on the back-to-back winners, Cottesloe. Following their loss to the team in the semi-final of the 2020 season, Palmyra have been preparing for the game with the intention of clutching the win from the current Premiers.

With experience and knowledge on their side, Cottesloe having been in this position before. The advantage over the young team hopes to see them take the win yet again.

As we prepare for the big day, take a look at all the important info you need to know:

Cost & Entry – The entry fee for Senior games will be $10 for adults only after 10:30am. This will be cashless payments only. Spectators please enter through the main gate, players and coaches can enter for the free gate located at the Rugby League Clubhouse behind the Kalamunda Clubhouse.

Parking – With Junior games taking place earlier in the day we recommend getting to the venue earlier rather than later to secure a parking spot in the allocated areas. A free bus will be stopping at the Woodlupine Family Centre next to Forrestfield Shopping Centre to bring spectators to the grounds.
Parking will be visible as the club outlines where you can and cannot park. Please be vigilant and considerate of homes and resident driveways and pathways when parking on Grand Final day.

General Information - Supporters will be able to enter from one main entrance
- Toilets will also be situated all around the precinct
-We all want you to have a good time responsibly with bars located at the venue and majority of the spectator area being licensed with consideration to the family zones. There is a strict no BYO policy
- Please be aware of no smoking areas and be considerate of those surrounding when smoking to ensure you are in the allocated area
-Please remember to sign in to the event as per COVID guidelines
-Don’t forget to download your program online from the QR codes or on our website, a handful of hardcopies will be available if necessary
- NO DOGS will be allowed at the venue
