This year RugbyWA has focused the Healthy Club Competition around preparing and improving local clubs to become more family friendly, ensuring the longevity of a great rugby community in the state.

As always, the Healthy Club Champion reflects all the elements that go together to demonstrate a club that is performing in a positive and “healthy” way.

The competition will be completed across the year and allows all levels and size of club to compete and demonstrate their effectiveness as a club group.

By actively partaking in the competition each club will get the opportunity to demonstrate the overall capacity of the club in all facets of Rugby operations.

Clubs will also build and develop their foundations to becoming a well organised, healthier and safer club environment.

The initiative is also supported by an opportunity to earn a genuine and valuable prize package of rugby equipment and much more that will be on offer along with appropriate kudos and recognition. Updates on the healthy club leader board will be shared throughout the year with the winner announced in early 2021.

The Good Sports Program is a major focus for RugbyWA this year. The program is designed for busy sports clubs, Good Sports takes the guess work out of complying with legal requirements and gives you the upper hand when it comes to attracting funding, new members and volunteers.

RugbyWA this year are offering clubs not just valuable Healthy Club Points but are giving clubs the opportunity to off-set their competition costs up to $1,500 for the next year’s competition.
