In my time in Perth as CEO of Global Rapid Rugby, I’ve come to admire the community spirit behind the Western Force and the sport of rugby throughout WA.
In 2018 and 2019 the support was outstanding and I know you will get behind the Force again as part of a true competition in 2020. In those past two seasons, the Force promoted complimentary ticket offers that encouraged people to come and experience a new version of rugby in a series of showcase games.
This season we are upscaling to a fully-fledged home and away schedule, and rather than continuing with the approach of issuing large numbers of complimentary tickets, we are now offering great value tickets from just $20 for adults plus concessions – which I hope you agree represents a very fair price for all rugby followers.
Many of you would have already been contacted by the Western Force membership team when 2020 membership products were launched. These include adult memberships from $60 for five home games and also provide access to full strength member bars. Once again this is terrific value for a great product which probably explains why membership numbers are significantly higher this season.
