The first ‘Twilight Series’ of the Alcohol. Think Again Spring Sevens took place on Friday night taking place at the ‘Bull Pen’ or more commonly known as Hartfield Park.
With just the Men’s and Women’s Divisions taking place during the first tournament some new club contenders emerged looking to knock off last year’s victors Cottesloe.
The hosts Kalamunda Rugby Club were the stars of the day in both the Men’s and Women’s Division with newly aligned Uprising dominating the Women’s Division showcasing a host of AON UNI 7s talent.
UWA were out in force as the professors used their team numbers to their advantage rolling in huge substitutions at the time giving the squad fresh legs nearly on every play.
However, it wasn’t enough for the young and dynamic Kalamunda side who came out of the tournament leading on the 2019 ATA Spring Sevens table.
