Fortescue Senior Grade livestreamed fixture

Palmyra vs Curtin Uni, Tompkins Park. Canning Highway, Alfred Cove. Kick-off 3:30 pm.

Sitting eighth on the table Palmyra are only five points shy of the top six, this weekend they will play host to Curtin Uni as they look to make a push on the Premiership Division.

Only two rounds away from the split the pressure is starting to rise for all clubs with only five points separating ninth spot from the sixth.

Sitting at five wins from ten, Pally will want to assert themselves this weekend looking to secure that winning percentage.

Curtin University haven’t been able to secure a win yet in 2019 however they are edging closer and closer to a successful performance.

Showing resilience against the Coastal Cavaliers last weekend Curtin will want to show the same level of defence against a solid Palmyra back line.

It will be difficult stopping winger Chris Miller who was pulled into the Western Force training squad this weekend as injury cover.

Hopefully a strong performance from him can impress head coach Tim Sampson into giving him a crack at the blue jersey.

Wests Scarborough vs Coastal Cavaliers, Bennett Park Millcrest Street, Doubleview. Kick-off 3:30 pm.

Sitting in third place Wests Scarborough are only four points away from that all important  number one spot on the table.

Running out on the Pig Pen this weekend the ‘Boars” will go up against the Coastal Cavaliers.

Wests were caught up in a nail biter against Wanneroo last weekend,  scoring in the final minutes to win by only two points.

This weekend they will be looking to put a lot more points on the board mainly to avoid head coach Dylan Parsons losing all of his hair over a number of close results.

As for the Cavs they got the ball rolling against Curtin and come into this game with a lot of momentum.

Facing a team such a Wests is never easy however with the amount of physicality this Cavaliers side shows they may be able to put the home team on its toes.

Cottesloe vs Perth Bayswater, Harvey Field. Broome Street, Cottesloe. Kick off at 3:30 pm.

Cottesloe will be hoping the weather improves for this round of rugby heading back to Harvey Field to host Perth Bayswater.

Cottesloe came off a very close call against Joondalup at home last weekend only beating the home side by a singular point.

Winger Zubayr Abrahams had an impressive performance crossing the line in first ten minutes of the match.

Coming into this Perth Bayswater match it would be easy to assume that Cottesloe will be looking to dominate, wanting to put a far bigger margin on the board.

Looking at the Numbats they went down convincingly last weekend to powerhouse to Nedlands and will be looking to defiantly make an improvement from last game.

It won’t be easy for them facing the top two teams on the trot however with the varied results we’ve had all year anything can happen in this competition.

ARKs vs Joondalup Brothers, Harrisdale Field. Gracefield Boulevard, Harrisdale. Kick-off at 3:30 pm.

Harrisdale will play show yet another very even showdown this weekend as ARKs take on the Joondalup Brothers.

With only one point separating these two teams on the table this match is sure to be hotly contested.

Both these teams have come of close losses in round ten and are just out of reach for the Premiership Division top six.

However, a win in this round could put these team in a favourable position when they enter the championship division come round 13.

Both the Orr brothers will be joining ARKs this weekend boosting their forwards into a very intimidating group.

This match is sure to be a cracker as both teams are as tight as anything when it comes to talent on the field.

Nedlands vs Southern Lions, The Foreshore. Cnr Broadway & Esplanade, Nedlands. Kick-off 3:30 pm.

Nedlands have had a brilliant first half of the season knocking off big teams to land themselves into the top three.

This weekend they will be back at the Foreshore to take on the Southern Lions.

Playing back at home Nedlands is also a team that will be praying for better weather as The Foreshore can be a devastating place to play in the wet.

Last weekend Nedlands championed the weather to take down Perth Bayswater having the confidence to let chip kicks fly all over the park only to finish with ease.

The Southern Lions currently sit in ninth spot on the ladder and are still in striking distance of the top six.

If the Lions were able to pull out a debut in the Premiership Division this weekend it would be a testament to the hard work and preparation this club. Put into this season.

Associates vs Wanneroo, Allen Park. Odern Crescent, Swanbourne. Kick off at 3:30 pm.

After beating top of the table UWA, Associates will now have to face another one of the Premier Grade’s top sides in Wanneroo.

Associates seemed to have bounced back into form last weekend against at the Library, the return of second rower Lachie Valentine really lit a spark under this Soaks teams.

Sitting in sixth position, a win this weekend is crucial for the boys in gold to secure a position in the Premiership Division.

Last weekend was a low scoring affair for Wanneroo only scoring five points in a defensive hit-out over Wests Scarborough.

Expect this game to be much the same with both teams boasting very strong backrows, hopefully we will see Wanneroo fling the ball out wide this weekend getting over the chalk on a regular basis.

Kalamunda vs UWA, Hartfield Park. Morrison Road, Forrestfield. Kick off at 3:30 pm

After going down at home to the defending champs Associates, UWA will be looking for a big bounce bag against another one of last year’s Grand Finalists Kalamunda.

Hitting the road to the ‘Bull Pen’ UWA will have to bring everything against this young, well drilled Kalamunda side.

The number of Colts that has come up for this Bulls team have developed and performed outstandingly, with the new talent Kalamunda is churning out there is a lot of promise for this club in the future.

Looking at the table Kalamunda only sit four points behind Associates in the seventh spot, the Bulls are yet another the squad in this competition that need to have consistent wins over the next two weeks to make that Premier Division top six.

UWA won’t be taking this match for granted however only sitting two places above Kalamunda they will need to be on top of their game if they don’t want to be leapfrogged.
