Got a passion for rugby and a way with words?
This is your chance to step inside the action and see rugby through a media lens. RugbyWA is giving one lucky student the opportunity to become a Junior Journalist, gaining real behind the scenes experience across some of the biggest rugby events in Western Australia.
Junior Journalists will have the chance to:
- Join RugbyWA on match day at the Wallabies v Springboks Test Match.
Entry dates

This is a unique opportunity to experience professional rugby media firsthand — don’t miss your chance to be part of the action
- 4 tickets to the selected rugby event (2 adults, 2 kids)
- Features on RugbyWA’s social media channels
- Hands-on content creation experience with RugbyWA team
- The chance take part in player and fan interviews
- Telling the story of rugby in WA from a young voice
- Students aged 10 to 17.
- Must attend a RugbyWA School Ambassador Program school.
- Parent/guardian consent required.

- Record a 15–30 second vertical video answering one of these:
- Why do you want to be RugbyWA’s Junior Journalist?
- What would you ask someone at a rugby match?
- What do you love about rugby in WA?
- Show us your energy, creativity and love for the game!
