Green Shirt Program

The Green Shirt Program is designed to raise awareness about the experience level and development journey of new Match Officials. By visibly identifying inexperienced referees, the program fosters greater understanding, empathy and respect from players, coaches, and spectators - ultimately aiming to significantly reduce the risk of abuse and unnecessary pressure on new referees.

Assistant Referee Club Program

The Assistant Referee Club Program is designed to strengthen the rugby officiating environment in Western Australia by embedding trained Assistant Referees (ARs) within every club and school. The program aims to lift match-day professionalism, improve the quality of officiating, and provide a structured pathway for individuals to progress into refereeing roles.
