MASSIVE ROUND OF PREMIER GRADE RUGBY THIS WEEKEND!
With the final round before the competition splits, the top six is anything but set in stone. UWA will sit comfortably on top of the ladder this season with a much-needed bye, whilst 7 teams are battling it out to secure their spot in the top 6.
Two teams facing the boot from the top 6 are battling it out in this week's Round 13 Stan match. Wanneroo (6) taking on Wests Scarborough (5) in a do-or-die battle at Kingsway sports club.
Wanneroo coach Ian Armitage said “The boys are feeling fresh and confident heading into the match after a much-needed bye last week.”
“Although Wests Scarborough recovered from a tough loss to Palmyra last week, the boys need to bring their A-game if they want to secure a spot in the top six.” Armitage said.
At Allen Park, Associates (7), who are knocking very loudly on a top six finish, take on bottom-placed ARKS (13). A victory would put them into the top 6 if they win, but nothing is guaranteed.
After a tough draw to Nedlands last week, Cottesloe (4) is taking on third place, Perth Bayswater (3) in a thrilling match at Harvey Field. Perth Bayswater looks to knock Nedlands out of second place, with Cottesloe looking to hold onto their top 6 position.
A massive round of matches this Saturday coming up and nothing is guaranteed with 7 teams battling it for a top 6 finish. We look forward to seeing you cheering your team on at the ground.
