Kalamunda Rugby Club has shown their dominance early in the year taking out both the Women’s and Open Men’s Divisions at the recent Cockburn 10s tournament.
In the two finals played in the afternoon Kalamunda were victorious in two tight matches despite being the second seeded club in both divisions.
The Western Fijians were dominant leading up to the final with the side showing their defence as a strong point only allowing two tries in the pool matches.
It was a similar story with the Women’s Division with Wanneroo winning both their matches leading into the final match one being a tight race with Wests only scraping by with a one-point victory.
It was a two-horse race in the social division with Southern Lions coming out on top of ARKs in two of the three matches taking out the social division title.
