Rugby heads North to the Geraldton 10s

Top-level club rugby will head north once again as teams travel from around the state to take part in the Geraldton 10s Invitational Rugby Festival.

Set for the Labour Day long weekend the two-day festival will take place on the 27th and 28th of February at Spalding Park in Geraldton.

Teams from across the globe have signed on to take part in the event including the Nak Suu Tigers and Kimono Dragons provincial-grade sides who normally participate in tournaments in Thailand, Hawaii and South Africa.

The Carnarvon Cyclones will also venture south for the event they will be joining local Perth clubs Nedlands and Palmyra who will also come up to play in the competition.

Games will kick-off from 10:00am on the Saturday with all teams coming together for a welcome to Mid-West celebration taking place that evening.
