Founded in 1893, the Western Australia Rugby Union (RugbyWA) is the governing body of rugby union in Western Australia. With over 35 clubs across the state, including metro and regional, RugbyWA provides a way for all people, of all ages, genders and abilities, to be part of the vibrant rugby community.
RugbyWA offers opportunities to engage with Rugby Union across a variety of formats and deliveries. This includes Club Rugby for Senior Men, Senior Women, Juniors, Over 35s and All Abilities, in addition to School Rugby programs and competitions, and diverse formats such as Rugby 7’s, Rugby 10’s and non-contact Tri Tag. Driving passionate involvement, Rugby Union in Western Australia is available for all.
A not-for-profit organisation, RugbyWA aims to unite all Western Australians on-and-off the field, inspiring community connection. There is no private ownership of RugbyWA, with profit generated re-invested into the game at all levels in Western Australia.
