Matt Hodgson

Matt Hodgson is one of the most respected figures in Western Force history, renowned for his leadership, durability, and commitment to the club. A foundation player, he became the first Force member to reach 100 caps and captained the side through many of its most successful seasons, including the club’s record nine‑win campaign in 2014. Hodgson earned 11 Test caps for the Wallabies and represented Australia in both Sevens and World Cup rugby. He finished his Super Rugby career with 140 appearances for the Force before transitioning into rugby administration and high‑performance leadership.
