With the first half of the year flying by RugbyWA has been in and under within the community and has no signs of slowing down.

The RugbyWA development team has been busy instilling the love of rugby to over 22,000 kids.

Within the first semester of 2022, our development team went out to 139  schools within the metro area.

Despite the challenges Covid has presented, we have still been out in full force. Some schools have unfortunately missed out due to case numbers. We intend to head back and get involved with the 4000-plus students that were sidelined.

The RugbyRoos have burst through the lines in the first semester with just under 15,000 kids involved with the program.

2022 has been an exciting year for Rugby in WA and we intend to keep it that way.

The Western Force Cup formerly known as the Rugby Schools Cup is set to kick off at the end of this month.

13 Schools across the metro area will battle it out in their respective hubs across eight weeks.

The schools will be split across three hubs North, South and Metro. The top two teams from each hub will contend for the Western Force cup on the 21st of September.

Metro schools aren't the only ones competing, RugbyWA will be travelling to Albany and Geraldton to run their competition strengthening our relationship with our regional competition.
