RugbyWA is proud to celebrate our success stories and community awards. One of these awards is the Coach of the Year.
To be eligible, a club nominates their selected coach from any junior or senior grade. Nominations will be received from the club President submitted to RugbyWA’s Director of Rugby by 1st of September 2021.
Selection Criteria:
Nomination must reference the person’s contribution to rugby with a focus on their current role, including:
• Coaching role(s) and contribution to club.
• Provide detail that can be attributed to this person’s contribution.
• Contribution to the club’s wider community.
• Present an integrated club and coach development program.
• Coaching plans demonstrate the continuity of program and staff progression
• Implementation of player welfare and wellbeing system
• Professional development support of game-related qualification and learning
Other:
• Award recipients agree to have name and photograph publicised.
• Nominations are to be accompanied by two people who can report on the person’s ability to meet the selection criteria. These individuals must be able to comment in detail upon the applicant’s involvement in coaching.
