RugbyWA has launched a number of mini-clinics targeting to female players between the ages of 12 and 17 years old named 'Girl's Club'.

The new initiative, Girl's Club aims to teach new techniques and build on current skills through the use of drills and match play with the goal of building confidence in young women in the game and more importantly within themselves.

Girl's within the program will learn in two parts with the start of the session being skill focussed and technique based before translating into gameplay situations towards the end of the program.

The sessions will be directed by RugbyWA's high level accredited coaches as well as our Super W players, giving girls the best opportunity to meet and train with their professional counterparts.

Girls Club will run once a week across four clubs across the southern region of Perth, with clinics running at Southern Lions, Arks, Kalamunda and Mandurah Rugby Clubs starting from Friday July 3.

All young women of all skills levels are encouraged to come down and participate wether they are new to the game or highly experienced their will be a position for everyone.
