On the next episode of the RugbyWA Coaching Series Eagles head coach Gary Gold will be joining RugbyWA director of rugby Steve Anderson to discuss Analysis and Developing Systems.
With a very extensive rugby resume Gold has had experience head coaching in a variety of competitions across the globe, having coached in the English Premiership, Super Rugby and in Japan.
Gold has also coached at a national level with the South African Springboks as well as his current position as head coach of the United States national team.
Following the success of the first episode Gold was excited to come onto the next presentation, touching on how coaches can work together to improve the game on a holistic level.
“I’m very happy to contribute to RugbyWA’s high performance coaching series,” Gold Said.
“Ando (Steve Anderson) and I have a long association & hope to use our experience to inform and challenge various aspects of coaching, including game analysis and it’s application.”
“This HP series offers something for all coaching levels of the game.”
This week’s presentation will feature Gold diving into the aspects on how he looks to develop his teams’ systems by using analysis of training and match play conversions.
Steve Anderson was extremely excited for Gold to join the team, outlining how beneficial getting international level experience is on the series.
“Very excited to have Gary contribute to our high-performance coaching webinar series,” Anderson said.
“Obviously, Gary has a wealth of experience at the highest levels of world rugby and from our recent discussion his presentation is world class.”
The live webinar session will air on Zoom on Tuesday the 5th of May at 5:30pm and will be followed by a Q and A session giving coaches the opportunity to ask Gold specific questions.
The webinar is now the third theme in the High-Performance stream of the RugbyWA Coaching Series and will be available to be replayed on the RugbyWA website directly after the conclusion of the presentation.
