Manager and assistant coaching roles open within RugbyWA state teams

RugbyWA are currently accepting applications for a number of coaching and manager positions with the state’s youth representative teams.


RugbyWA are currently seeking applications for the roles of; U15s Assistant Coach, U15s Manager, U16s Assistant Coach, U16s Manager, U18s Boys Assistant Coach, U18s Boys Manager, U18s Girls Assistant Coach, U18s Girls Manager, U19s Boys Assistant Coach, U19s Manager

 

Assistant Coach  

The Assistant Coach role is responsible for the delivery of the following aspects. You will be responsible to the RWA Code of Conduct and the setting of standards applicable to this position.

Responsibilities - in consultation with Head Coach.
 
A. Rugby Program
Design of program content under the direction of Head Coach Leadership and implementation of team philosophy and culture, Performance and program review,
Work with Rugby Australia PONI athletes, and Coaching Council Forums- attendance and delivery.
 
B. Coaching
Development of rugby program in consultation with head coach. Coaching of specific team, unit and individual components, Design and implementation of session plans, and
Completion of individual player profiling (IPP).
 
C. Selection
Attendance at club development sessions, club trainings and selection nights.
 
D. Player
Carrying out player communication schedule (including team meetings), and Player reviews –in season and post program.

 

Manager

The Team Manager role is responsible for the delivery of the following aspects. You will be responsible to the RWA Code of Conduct and the setting of standards applicable to this position.
 
Responsibilities - in consultation with Head Coach.
 
A. Rugby Program
Leadership and Leadership of team culture. Coordination of all team requirements Performance and program review, Commitment to work with development squads
 
B. Commitment
Develop communication protocol and team logistics Availability for all team sessions and travel requirements
 
C. Selection
Attendance at all sessions, trainings and selection nights.
 
D. Player
Carrying out player communication schedule (including team meetings), and Player reviews –in season and post program.
