Congratulations to Alasdair Henderson who was presented with the Western Force Adrian Blacker Award at the Western Force Awards night on Friday 24th June.

This award recognises the efforts of a staff member or volunteer for their service to rugby throughout the season.

Alasdair continues to show his passion for the game by not only working as a full-time Zone Coordinator but volunteers his time to numerous other areas of rugby both within RugbyWA and the wider community.

RugbyWA CEO, Nathan Charles said, “Alisdair’s passion for rugby continues to shine with his recent acknowledgement of the Western Force Adrian Blacker Award. His involvement through all aspects of rugby from refereeing to delivering RugbyWA participation programs throughout WA growing the game of Rugby in our schools and clubs, nothing is too hard for Alisdair. It’s a fantastic reward for his commitment to Rugby in WA.”

“Alasdair has been an exceptional help to us from assisting on match days to being one of the most admired opposition team liaison officers. He assisted visiting teams with everything from finding and transporting lost luggage to finding suitable solutions to delayed flights at midnight,” Western Force CEO, Tony Lewis said.

From everyone at the Western Force, RugbyWA and the wider Rugby Community in WA, Congratulations Alasdair.
