The 2022 Belt Up Colts Final will take place this weekend at Sir Charles Court Reserve between Nedlands and Perth Bayswater.

Throughout the season, Nedlands were victorious against Perth Bayswater in Rounds 3 and 6 but tied in round 14.

In the round 14 blockbuster, PBW made a thrilling comeback in the final 10 minutes of the game, scoring two tries to even up the scores. Unfortunately, They missed the kick after the siren resulting in a draw.

When asked about the draw Nedlands Colts Coach Ammon Matuauto said this.

"What happened in the past is in the past."

"Finals rugby is all about who's the best on the day."

Nedlands were almost undefeated this season, with Associates dishing out their only loss this year in round 8.

Associates narrowly missed out on finals by two points as Perth Bayswater secured the second spot with a convincing win over the Mandurah Pirates 28 - 0.

Perth Bayswater coach Jimmy Mason says the boys are thrilled to be in the finals.

"After a slow start to the season, we are super excited to face the challenge this weekend."

"We are in for a tough, physical game against Nedlands in true Colt's fashion. We still believe in the old saying Championships are earned, not won!"

Could the strong and fast finishing Perth Bayswater be too much for Nedlands to control? Or will Nedlands be too strong on their home turf?

Either way, one team will emerge victorious and bring some shiny new silverware back to their club in what should be a Blockbuster Final.
