Premier Mark McGowan has announced community sport will move to the next phase of the COVID recovery plan enabling community sport to start contact training and gatherings of up to 100 people from Saturday the 6th of June.

As a result, RugbyWA have released updated return to play guidelines ahead of next weekend to enabling clubs to further modify trainings ahead of the proposed 4th of July competition start for Junior and Senior community rugby.

As return to competition draws closer RugbyWA has worked closely with clubs and all stake holders to finalise a planned approach. This includes working with club leaders, referees and volunteers to ensure a safe return to rugby.

Importantly, RugbyWA and the local rugby clubs have worked with Local Governments to confirm venue availability whilst adjusting fixtures.

RugbyWA in the Guidelines outlines key focus areas and protocols clubs and players need to take before heading back to trainings including, competition, coaching and dispensation matters.
