Positions open for future RugbyWA state coaches

RugbyWA have opened four heading coaching positions for Under 19s, Under 18s, Under 16s and Under 15s state representative sides.

Each head coaching role will take the reins of the selected side for two years before the position is reopened for application.

Applicants will be responsible to the RWA Code of Conduct and the setting of standards applicable to this position.

All roles will be aligned with the National Academy Program as well as all of Rugby Australia’s National Programs

 

 The Responsibilities of each role will include.

               

                A. Rugby Program

Design of program content and program structure

Leadership and implementation of team philosophy and culture,

Performance and program review,

Work with Rugby Australia PONI athletes, and

Coaching Council Forums- attendance and delivery.

 

                B. Coaching

Development of rugby program in consultation with head coach.

Coaching of specific team, unit and individual components,

Design and implementation of session plans, and

Completion of individual player profiling (IPP).

Integration and Coaching as a part of the RWA Academy Program

 

                C. Selection

Attendance at Academy, club development sessions, club trainings and selection nights.

               

                D. Player

Carrying out player communication schedule (including team meetings), and

Player reviews –in season and post program.
