The 2019 Aon Uni 7s season continues for Team UWA, finishing in eighth place in another exciting tournament.
Wins eluded Team UWA on day one, going down to University of Sydney, Griffith University, and University of Melbourne.
However, a 24-19 win against hosts University of Adelaide set UWA up for the seventh/eighth play-off against Bond University.
Despite the 24-19 loss against Bond, eighth place is an impressive finish for a young team in our debut year of competition.
The win against Adelaide means that Team UWA has won a game in each of the three tournaments held so far, an important step in our development.
Team UWA will travel to the University of Canberra for the final round of competition, taking place on 26-27 October
