Get Into Rugby

Before each term kicks off, schools can apply for funding through Sporting Schools and select one of our two programs; Get into Rugby or Touch 7s.

Each one is a fun five-week program perfect for the outdoors.

It’s a 40-60 minute session which can be run before, during or after school.

Our school rugby programs teach students how to be quick on their toes and work well with others.

Teachers can also request a Rugby Australia accredited development officer or coach to help run a program.

Touch 7s

Touch 7s is all about having fun with friends and families while playing in good spirit, games are just sixteen minutes long and it's super social and light on competitiveness.

Touch 7s is perfect for all ages, so whether you’re a beginner, a one-timer or a seasoned player there’s a spot for you.

There is plenty of action on and off the field and once the action wraps up on the pitch, there's plenty of fun off-field with music, barbecues and activities for everyone.

Touch 7s It’s a non-contact form of Rugby which means the game is free-flowing and all about making space.
