Terms & Conditions – Containers for Change Impact Ladder
Promoter
The Containers for Change Impact Ladder is promoted by Rugby WA, 203 Underwood Avenue, Floreat WA 6014 in partnership with Containers for Change.
Promotion Period
- The promotion period commences on 12.00am (AWST) 11 April 2026 and ends on 11.59pm 30 November 2026.
- RugbyWA reserves the right to extend or amend the Program period at its discretion.
Eligibility
- Participation is open to all affiliated RugbyWA clubs within Western Australia.
- Clubs must be registered with both RugbyWA and Containers for Change and hold a valid Scheme ID.
- Participation is voluntary and free of charge.
Participation Requirements
- Participating clubs must:
- Hold a valid Containers for Change Scheme ID (Unique Identification Number).
- Ensure their Scheme is active, accurate and publicly communicated to members and supports.
- Encourage the return of eligible containers via authorised Containers for Change refund points.
- Only containers successfully processed and allocated to a club’s Scheme ID during the Promotion Period will be counted.
Impact Ladder Ranking
- Clubs will be ranked on the Impact Ladder based on total eligible containers returned and recorded against their Scheme ID during the Promotion Period.
- Data will be supplied by Containers for Change and is deemed final and binding.
- Leaderboards will be updated monthly (or as determined by RugbyWA).
- RugbyWA accepts no responsibility for delays, errors or omissions in data provided by third party.
Prize
- The club ranked first on the Impact Ladder at the conclusion of the Campaign will receive a cash prize of $2,000 (excl. GST).
- The prize must be used for initiatives, equipment or programs that support health, wellbeing, sustainability or community outcomes within the club.
- RugbyWA reserves the right to request details of how the funds will be used and to approve the proposed use.
- Clubs hosting a RugbyWA major event will be assessed for that event week based on their average weekly recycling volume, rather than total containers collected during the event period.
Winner Notification & Verification
- The winning club will be notified in writing within 7 days of the Program closing date.
- RugbyWA reserves the right to verify results and request supporting documentation before awarding the prize.
- If the winning club cannot be contacted or does not meet edibility requirements, RugbyWA reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible club.
Modifications & Termination
- RugbyWA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
- Any changes will be communicated via official RugbyWA channels.
Data Collection & Privacy
- By participating, entrants consent to RugbyWA and Containers for Change collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the Program, reporting outcomes, and future RugbyWA communications.
- Personal information will be handled in accordance with RugbyWA’s Privacy Policy.
General Conditions
- RugbyWA reserves the right to
- Verify the validity of entries and participants.
- Disqualify any club that tampers with the entry process or engages in fraudulent or misleading conduct.
- To the extent permitted by law, RugbyWA and its partners are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with participation in the Program.
- RugbyWA is not responsible for any technical issues, delays or failures that may impact participation or data recording.
Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute regarding the Program, RugbyWA’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
